FAQ's

How do i place an order or obtain a quote?
Email - browse our products, note the codes, and then email us the codes, quantities, engraving requirements and the date the order is required for. Please include any other information such as stock centres codes, logos, etc if required.
In Person - via our West Norfolk Mobile Service
Phone - whilst we are happy to deal with any enquiries, stock checks etc over the phone we would need finalised orders by email.
Public bodies such as schools, military, NHS, councils etc - if you wish us to invoice your order, purchase order numbers must be supplied at the time of ordering along with details of the department responsible for payment.

Is VAT added to the listed prices?
VAT is included in all the prices displayed, not added on.

What size are the trophies and awards?
All trophies and awards on this site have an approx size listed, normally the height. The height is always to the uppermost point of the awards, ie. a cup with handles - the height will be to the top of the handles which are normally above the rim of the bowl itself.
Please take note of the sizes of the awards you are ordering and try to compare the size listed against something else you have to hand. 

Does engraving cost extra?
On orders over £100 flat plate engraving becomes free of charge. On orders under £100 flat plate engraving would be only £1.00 per item. We do not charge by the letter.  For more information click here.
Other types of engraving may have extra charges associated with them. These include engraving on medals, sandblasted or lasered glass, lasered wood, nickel / silver plated cups, tankards & hipflasks, salvers & large wooden shields amongst others. Please contact us for a quote.

How long will my order take to be ready?
10-14 days for most types of orders. For larger orders of say 100+ products please give us longer if possible.
One of the best things a customer can do for us, is give us plenty of time and order well in advance. This allows us to check your order, deal with any queries and have the order ready with time to spare. We would prefer our customers to receive their orders with days to spare, not at the last minute.

How do i know if the trophy i need is in stock?
When we receive an order one of the first things we do is check the stock level. We have live stock feeds with all our suppliers and any "out of stock" issues will be dealt with straight away. We will contact the customer detailing the issue and, where possible, offer alternatives of a similar standard or better.
Whilst we only use the best suppliers out there, no stock systems are 100% correct all the time. Therefore there may be odd occasions where no issue is immediately evident but shows during the delivery process from our suppliers. Again we will deal with this straight away and advise you.
If we have plenty of time for the order we then have plenty of time to deal with these situations when they occasionally occur.
One thing we have always done at Dewhursts is that, as soon as we have a confirmed order, we order from our suppliers and hold the products ourselves, regardless if the order is wanted in 7 days or 3 months time. This way we have the certainty on the product availability for presentation.

Do you offer discounts for larger orders?
Yes we do, contact us for a quote.

Can i make late changes to my order?
We will go out of our way to accommodate any changes needed but sometimes it may not be possible.
Please contact us as soon as possible if the need to make changes arise.

How do i get hold of my completed order?
Delivery via Dewhursts Mobile Service - our mobile service covering Kings Lynn, West Norfolk & the Fens is proving very successful. We can personally deliver your orders to your door, free of charge for larger orders with smaller orders only charged a token delivery fee.
Courier - we can deliver your order anywhere within the UK using the Royal Mail or national couriers DHL. Charges may apply.

How and when do i pay?
We reserve the right to ask for payment on ordering.
If prior agreement has been reached then, in some cases, we are happy to invoice or receive payment upon collection/delivery.
Payment can be made by cash, card (in store & via an electronic link) and via bank transfer - details on request.
We do accept payment by cheque but please bear in mind it takes 5 working days for cheques to clear.

I know the products i need but not the engraving yet, can i still order?
Yes you can, in fact in some cases we encourage this, especially when the engraving is going to be via flat plates. We will secure the stock needed and then wait to hear from you regarding the engraving.

I can't find the trophy i am looking for?
We have a massive choice of trophies and awards on this site but we can supply even more. If you can't see what you need or have seen something on another website but not on here then please contact us, supplying as much information as possible.

Do you engrave everything in house?
We engrave all flat plates, tankards, hip flasks, shields, salvers, & all types of cups in house.
We do sometimes source our laser engraving and sandblasting from our trusted suppliers.

Privacy Policy
When placing orders our customers have to supply a certain amount of personal information to fulfill these orders such as name, address, contact number, email etc. We at Dewhursts will never sell or share that information with anybody else. For more information click here.
